The eBook Collection contains many new monographs, for example on Complex Systems - with applications in physics, but also in finance, societal problems or even traffic on our roads. Another example is Medical Physics, where physicists explore the interaction of light and radiation with our human bodies.

Springer is also known for its portfolio in more traditional areas such as Mathematical Physics, Condensed Matter, and Applied Physics. In 2024, we are pleased to present exciting new books in fundamental physics and hard-core astronomy, including books by exceptional scientists.

The Handbook of Nuclear Physics presents a milestone in our recent publishing history: The handbook consists of 113 chapters, has about 4300 pages. Such a large scale handbook probably never existed in the field of nuclear physics, and is a flagship in the field.
